Role description
Akkodis is seeking a REMOTE Statistician for a contract position with a client in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
This scope provides statistical consulting and support services to the company, primarily for its Framingham and Waltham sites. The services will support multiple projects and studies under the CMC (Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls) umbrella, focusing on statistical methodology, programming, reporting, and application development/validation.
Salary Range: $42.00 /hour to $58.00/hour. The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Responsibilities:
Documentation and Reporting
β’ Develop and deliver reports, memos, and presentations that are in accordance with companyβs
internal standards and industry best practices.
β’ Ensure all deliverables adhere to quality standards and are fit for regulatory and internal scientific
use.
Statistical Programming and Analysis
β’ Manage statistical analyses using software retained by the company, including SAS, JMP, and R.
β’ Utilize specialized statistical software (e.g., Modde, Simca) and proprietary company tools as
required for specific studies.
Support to CMC Scientists
β’ Manage statistical consultation and guidance for CMC scientists.
β’ Deliver project-specific statistical solutions, including but not limited to study design, data
interpretation, and process optimization.
Development and Validation of Statistical Applications
β’ Design, develop, and validate statistical programs and applications using SAS, R, and R Shiny,
aligned with the companys technical and quality standards.
The candidate will provide statistical support for non-clinical CMC studies according to best practices defined by the company, such as experiment design and analyses, Process Characterization, scale-down Model qualification, Specification limits calculation, Stability studies, Comparability topics, ANOVA topics, analytical methods transfer, or qualification/validation.
