Location: Remote (Central Time Zone preferred) – Quarterly Travel Required
Employment Type: Contract (Contract-to-Hire strongly preferred)
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Developer with a strong background in Finance and Operations (F&O) and Customer Engagement (CE)—particularly within the Sales Hub. This individual will play a key role in supporting both frontend and backend development efforts, as well as configuration, customization, and integration of critical business systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and support frontend and backend customizations in D365 F&O and CE modules.
• Configure modules and parameters in both F&O and CE to align with business processes.
• Perform backend development using X++, ensuring performance and stability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, articulate challenges, and propose solutions within the F&O space.
• Participate in knowledge transfer and documentation to close system/process gaps.
• Travel quarterly (2–3 days per trip; expenses covered) to meet with key teams and stakeholders.
Must-Have Skills:
• 3–5+ years of experience in D365 Finance and Operations (F&O) development and configuration.
• Hands-on knowledge of Customer Engagement (CE) and Sales Hub modules.
• Strong X++ development skills.
• Solid understanding of both frontend configuration and backend development (customizations may not always be required on the frontend, but knowledge is essential).
• Ability to clearly explain business process flows and system logic.
• Strong communication and documentation skills; must be able to articulate the "what" and the "why" behind technical decisions.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with Power Platform or Dataverse (especially as it relates to integration between CE and F&O).
• Previous experience supporting enterprise-level implementations or customizations.
Additional Details:
• Remote role, but must reside in CST or be able to work CST hours.
• Candidate should be prepared to start ASAP, but quality is prioritized over speed.
• Long-term need – contract-to-hire strongly preferred.
