Role description
Role: Dynamics 365 Specialist/Analyst, Location: Dallas, TX (Onsite) Role Purpose & Key Responsibilities Serve as the subject-matter expert for the Microsoft Dynamics platform (CRM and/or ERP modules) used by Client. Configure, maintain, and enhance Dynamics modules to support business processes (e.g., field operations, repair shops, service centers, fleet operations). Work closely with business stakeholders (Operations, Finance, IT, Fleet, Repair Centers) to gather requirements, map workflows, translate into Dynamics functionality/customisations. Implement and manage integrations between Dynamics and other systems (e.g., service centre tools, repair scheduling, parts inventory, analytics/BI tools). Support end-users: training, documentation, help desk issue resolution specific to Dynamics. Perform system upgrades, patching, testing (regression, user acceptance), and manage change controls for the Dynamics environment. Monitor and improve system performance, data integrity, user adoption and report on key metrics. Assist in reporting & analytics (leveraging Dynamics data) or coordinate with BI teams to feed data into visualization tools. Ensure compliance with security, data governance, and internal controls as they pertain to Dynamics modules. (Depending on seniority) Possibly lead or collaborate with external Dynamics consultants or vendors, and support a roadmap for scaling/improving Dynamics usage across the enterprise. Required Skills & Experience Proven experience working with Microsoft Dynamics - likely Dynamics 365 (Sales, Field Service, Customer Service) and/or Dynamics ERP modules. Strong functional understanding of business processes in operations, service centres, repair/field service environment (which maps well to Client's model). Hands-on with configuration/customisation: creating entities/tables, relationships, forms, business rules, workflows, Power Automate (Flow), plug-ins if needed. Experience integrating Dynamics with other systems (APIs, middleware, data feeds). Solid understanding of database concepts (SQL Server) and data modelling. Good communicator: be able to translate business needs into system requirements, and train/mentor users. Familiar with project lifecycle: design → build → test → deploy → support. Strong analytical mindset: problem-solving, attention to detail, data integrity, change management. Preferred: certifications in Microsoft Dynamics, Power Platform. Preferred: experience in manufacturing, field service, repair operations, automotive or heavy service business context (fits Client environment). Preferred: experience in BI/analytics (since there is evidence hires roles around analytics). For example, a role for "Business Intelligence Analyst" describes collaboration across finance/operations and data modelling.
