Kforce has a client that is seeking an onsite eCommerce AWS Engineer to join their team in Atlanta, GA. Duties:
β’ eCommerce AWS Engineer will design, develop, and implement innovative web solutions for B2B and B2C applications
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
β’ Customize and extend web functionality through API integrations, app integrations, and composable architecture
β’ Implement best practices in web development to ensure scalability, performance, and security
β’ Utilize Agile development methodologies to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget
β’ Translate business requirements into system components, including capabilities, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria
β’ Leverage hands-on experience with AWS to enhance eCommerce solutions
β’ As a eCommerce AWS Engineer, you will work with SaaS platforms like BigCommerce, Shopify, or CommerceTools to deliver robust eCommerce functionalities
β’ Collaborate with stakeholders and developers to design cohesive project strategies and facilitate effective collaboration
β’ Provide development support for internal and customer-facing environments, ensuring peak performance and security
Requirements
β’ Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related fields
β’ 5+ years of experience in eCommerce web development, with a focus on B2B applications
β’ Extensive hands-on experience with SaaS platforms such as BigCommerce and WordPress
β’ Proven experience in integrating web platforms with other systems using APIs, middleware, and third-party tools
β’ Knowledge of database management systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.) and version control systems (Git)
β’ Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins or GitLab CI)
β’ Expertise in composable and Headless architecture principles, with familiarity in frameworks such as MACH
β’ Proficiency with AWS development tools (e.g., AWS Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, Elastic Beanstalk, CodePipeline, EC2, S3, etc.)
β’ Strong skills in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React or Angular) and back-end technologies (Node.js, Python, or Java)
β’ Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
β’ Self-motivated and creative
β’ Relevant certifications (BigCommerce BigDev, AWS) are a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
