Role description
Client Name: Luxottica Job Title: EDI Data Analyst/ Medicaid EDI Manager Location: Mason, OH 45040 Hybrid role, 3x (Tue-Thurs) Length of assignment: Temp with potential of Temp to hire for the right candidate GENERAL FUNCTION: β€’ Perform membership data load from various electronic media into the AS400 system. β€’ Coordinate membership data transfer for new plans and modifications to existing plans, with client and internal personnel. β€’ Troubleshoot data issues through coordination and communication with management team, IT, and client personnel. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: β€’ Load membership data into the AS400 efficiently and accurately. β€’ Follow research and data processing guidelines and meet established standards. β€’ Answer client service team questions regarding data submission requirements in a professional and timely manner. β€’ Identify and resolve data issues. β€’ Use PC based applications to review membership data as necessary to ensure accurate data load or problem resolution. β€’ Assist in coordinating receipt, loading, tracking, and reporting of membership data. β€’ Identify and recommend systems and process modifications necessary to effectively and efficiently support the research function. β€’ Demonstrate strong teamwork abilities and the desire to provide quality customer service. COMMUNICATION WITH OTHERS: β€’ INTERNAL – Frequent oral and written communication with internal associate and field management β€’ EXTERNAL – Frequent oral and written communication with clients, brokers, software/system providers, and third party administrators β€’ LISTENING – Employs excellent listening skills to understand issue and drive research and resolution KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: β€’ Detailed working knowledge of mainframe computers and systems in general β€’ Detailed working knowledge of basic person computer operations β€’ Strong working knowledge of software programs, specifically Excel and Access β€’ Understands third party benefits and administration β€’ Strong customer service focus β€’ Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot electronic data issues β€’ Ability to work well under pressure and multi-task EXPERIENCE β€’ 3-5 years Business experience, preferable in the insurance industry. β€’ Familiarity with electronic media and AS400 Experience with Excel, Access and Microsoft Word EDUCATION: β€’ High school diploma or equivalent required.
