Job Duration: 6 Months - possible CTH
Location: Blue Ash, OH (Hybrid: in office Monday-Thursday)
Pay Range: $60-70/hr on W2

Responsible for participating in the design, development, testing, debugging, maintaining, and documenting software components in accordance with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices. Establish estimates and work plans for design, development, implementation, and rollout tasks. Communicate with the appropriate teams to ensure that assignments are delivered with the highest quality and in accordance with standards.
Minimum Position Qualifications
β’ 5+ years of successful and applicable hands-on experience in software or infrastructure development domain and principles, including design patterns and code structure
β’ 5+ years of proven track record of designing and delivering large scale, high-quality systems
β’ 5+ years of successful and applicable experience taking a lead role in building complex software and automation systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
β’ Expertise in EDI standards and compliance
β’ Strong knowledge of industry trends and industry competition
β’ Proven ability to think and contribute at the strategic level
β’ Demonstrated written, oral and presentation/public speaking communication skills
β’ Understanding of network and security architecture
β’ Deep knowledge in a minimum of two of the following technical disciplines: infrastructure and network design, application development, application programming interfaces (APIs), cloud, middleware, servers and storage, database management, and operations
Desired Experience
β’ Any experience in system architecture
β’ Awareness/experience working with FSMA
β’ Any experience in Cloud software service including designing for scale, performance and reliability
β’ Demonstrated capability to build, mentor and maintain an inclusive team-based environment
β’ Experience building solutions using elastic architectures (preferably Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform)
Required Skill Set:
β’ Proficient in designing standard data exchanges using EDI tools like IBM Sterling B2Bi
β’ Proficient in implementing, configuring, and maintaining EDI systems using EDI tool Sterling B2Bi
β’ Solid understanding of object-oriented principles, design patterns, and core principles of code reusability and extensibility of solutions, including mocking and unit testing
β’ Knowledge of EDI standard formats (ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XPath, BPML, XSLT, XML Schemas etc.) and EDI translators
β’ Experience with Middleware integrations like IBM MQ platform, APIGEE, Kafka etc.
β’ Experience with communication protocols (AS2, SFTP)
β’ Experience with the IBM Data Power appliance
β’ Experience with Web technologies including and not limited to Angular, Java, Spring boot, SOAP/REST
β’ Experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure automations.
β’ Proficient with ITSM/other change management processes.
