Role description
CEIs client is a leader in healthcare financials experience and technology, and they are adding an EDI Implementation Specialist to their team.

β’ Contract to hire position
β’ Eastern Time or Central Time candidates will only be considered
β’ $60-65 / HR
Responsibilities:
β’ Implement new client network or vendor relationships using EDI.
β’ Build and maintain relationships with adjudication system partners and vendors.
β’ Coordinate with business application and database administration functions to ensure EDI system availability and reliability.
β’ Perform system configuration, mapping, and management for EDI transactions.
β’ Develop, enhance, and maintain EDI (ANSI X12) maps for transactions.
β’ Collaborate with trading partners to plan and implement data exchanges.
β’ Document scope of work during implementation stages.
β’ Test and implement new file delivery or software changes with EDI trading partners.
β’ Monitor, troubleshoot, and correct EDI transactions.
β’ Analyze and deliver reports for process improvement opportunities.
β’ Develop and maintain project and system documentation.
β’ Perform business analyst duties such as requirements gathering and solution design.
β’ Monitor new technologies and tools in the EDI space.
β’ Assist with user test plan development and execution.
β’ Conduct end-user training for EDI systems.
β’ Drive adoption of standard work processes and data standards.
β’ Acquire and improve skills in EDI and related applications.
Required Skills (ANCHOR):
β’ EDI system implementation, configuration, and maintenance
β’ ANSI 837, 834, 999, 277 EDI formats
β’ SQL development (Microsoft SQL 2012 and up)
β’ HIPAA compliance environment regulations
β’ EDI standard formats (ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML)
β’ Data translation experience
