Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled EDM Solutions Architect to design, implement, and oversee enterprise-wide data management solutions. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in data architecture, governance, integration, and master data management (MDM) to ensure high-quality, consistent, and trusted data across the organization. This role will serve as a strategic partner to business stakeholders, data stewards, and technology teams, ensuring that the enterprise data strategy aligns with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
· Define and implement the Enterprise Data Management (EDM) strategy, covering architecture, governance, quality, and integration frameworks.
· Design and oversee data models, pipelines, and metadata frameworks supporting enterprise applications, analytics, and reporting.
· Collaborate with stakeholders to establish data standards, policies, and best practices for governance and stewardship.
· Provide architecture leadership for data integration platforms (ETL/ELT, APIs, streaming) to enable seamless enterprise-wide data flow.
· Implement and manage MDM and Reference Data Management solutions to deliver a single source of truth.
· Ensure compliance with data security, privacy, and regulatory requirements (GDPR, HIPAA, SOX, etc.).
· Partner with enterprise and solution architects to deliver cloud-native and hybrid data architectures.
· Lead POCs and technology evaluations for EDM tools and platforms.
· Mentor and provide technical leadership to data engineers, developers, and analysts.
Required Skills & Qualifications
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or related field.
· 10+ years of IT experience, with at least 5+ years in data architecture / EDM roles.
· Strong knowledge of data architecture principles, data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical), and metadata management.
· Hands-on experience with MDM platforms (Informatica MDM, Reltio, SAP MDG, IBM InfoSphere, etc.).
· Expertise with ETL/ELT tools (Informatica, Talend, DataStage, Azure Data Factory, etc.) and data integration patterns.
· Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern data ecosystems (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Synapse).
· Strong understanding of data governance, quality, lineage, and stewardship frameworks.
· Experience with data security and compliance frameworks.
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience implementing enterprise-wide EDM strategies in large organizations.
· Knowledge of data catalog tools (Collibra, Alation, Informatica EDC).
· Familiarity with API-driven data architecture and real-time streaming (Kafka, Event Hub).
· Relevant industry certifications (Informatica Certified Architect, DAMA CDMP, AWS/Azure Data Architect).
Soft Skills
