Embedded QA

Good knowledge of – SDLC, QA Methodologies and Best Practices, Test Planning, Test Strategy, Bug Life cycle, Bug Triage, debug and troubleshoot issues. Hands on Experience on – Test Management tools (Test Rail), Bug & Sprint management – Jira, Can take logs, analyze logs, monitor test results and dive deep the failure. Basic coding knowledge - Python/Java, Scripting and Automation Exp. in Devices testing/Mobile Testing/App testing/Web Testing. Embedded or IOT device testing. Basic AWS services and tool exp. Below are roles and responsibilities: Manual testing by following SDLC, QA methodologies and industry standard practices. Report and track issues, Analyze logs, monitor test results and do root cause analysis Develop test plans and test cases for features developed by the Amazon teams in SJC11(Sunnyvale). Collaborate with Amazon developers to execute tests on the Developed Features, including reviewing test cases. Reproduce any issues found in the field by testing in labs and logging defects for the Developed Features. Verify reported defects. Provide LabOps and lab assistance to Amazon developers for the Amazon QA team at SJC11lab. Under Amazon's direction, participate in the entire release cycle of the Developed Features by performing regression tests, field tests, long-running tests, and stress tests. Work onsite in the office, with any exceptions to be discussed with the project lead. Conduct field testing outside of the lab or offsite test site as required by the project. Collect data on site, take some pictures and process the data. Support testing of the Developed Features for monthly releases for the duration of this Work Order Term Collaborate with the Amazon to identify automation and test development opportunities for feature deliverables in future releases inSJC11 (Sunnyvale). The data and testing methodology must be reproducible. Issues will be submitted using a process provided by Amazon Team to join office daily at client site
