Job Overview:
Toyota is seeking experienced L3 ForgeRock Support Engineers to join their Identity & Access Management (IAM) team. This role is focused on maintaining the operational stability of IAM systems, leading integrations, resolving incidents, and contributing to the roadmap for ForgeRock platforms. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in ForgeRock technologies and have experience supporting enterprise-scale IAM environments.
Note: Occasional evening and weekend work may be required based on project or support demands.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead requirement gathering and design of IAM solutions.
• Define and maintain IAM architecture and roadmap.
• Triage and resolve P3/P4 tickets related to ForgeRock components (AM, IDM, DS, IG).
• Perform system health checks, sanity testing, and daily monitoring.
• Support and troubleshoot integrations with Social Identity Providers (IDPs).
• Drive root cause analysis and incident management activities.
• Participate in command center calls, providing live updates and support.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (BEC, CEC, AlwaysON) for issue resolution.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation, KB articles, and system diagrams.
• Create and distribute performance and operational reports.
• Ensure seamless handover of deliverables from projects to operations/support teams.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of IAM experience, including 2+ years in a technical leadership capacity.
• Strong hands-on experience with the ForgeRock Identity Platform (AM, IDM, DS, IG).
• Deep understanding of authentication/authorization protocols such as OIDC, OAuth2, SAML.
• Proficient with directory services (LDAP) and identity gateway configurations.
Preferred Skills:
• Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Shell, Python) for automation and monitoring.
• Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, or similar ticketing tools.
• Ability to perform log analysis and use monitoring tools to ensure application health.
• Skilled in coordinating configuration and code deployments with engineering and application teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for documentation and stakeholder engagement.
• Knowledge of supporting deployments across stage and production environments.
