Role description
Schedule: On-site/hybrid (3-4 days onsite and 1-2 off site) Role Overview: As a Cost Account Manager (CAM) on the Space Force MUOS program, you’ll collaborate with a cross-functional team to ensure successful execution of one or more MUOS Task Orders. This role requires strong communication and CAM skills. Preferred Skills/Experience: β€’ Strong communicator β€’ Proven Cost Account Management (CAM) capabilities CAM-Specific Skillsets: β€’ Assist in the successful execution and delivery of Task Orders within cost and schedule parameters, including CGN, Sales, and Margin expectations to GDMS β€’ Support execution of EVM contracts as a CAM β€’ Generate internal and external briefing reports β€’ Collaborate with Program Finance, Program Management, and the Deputy Program Manager of Engineering to define financial expectations in Fiscal Plan development β€’ Support development of resource-loaded Control Account schedules β€’ Assist in the establishment of Control Account Plans (CAPs) β€’ Request and manage open/close charge numbers β€’ Review weekly labor reports and subcontractor data, including estimated costs β€’ Support development of Baseline Change Requests (BCRs) β€’ Develop and manage performance measurement metrics β€’ Coordinate with Engineering to status schedules and develop Estimates to Complete (ETC) β€’ Participate in program reviews, including Integrated Program Management Data and Analysis Report (IPMDAR) β€’ Perform Control Account analysis, including rate impacts β€’ Support Engineering Status Reviews and Program Management Reviews β€’ Contribute to Integrated Baseline Review (IBR) preparation (if applicable) Excel and Power BI Skillsets: β€’ Advanced proficiency with Excel formulas: INDEX/MATCH, COUNTIFS, macros, and pivot tables β€’ Skilled in data transformation and Power Queries (Excel & Power BI) β€’ Competent in data visualization using charts and graphs in Excel and Power BI What Sets You Apart: β€’ Demonstrated success leading the systems development life cycle with strong requirements management and system modeling experience β€’ Creative problem solver with a passion for applying technical standards and methodologies β€’ Collaborative team player with proven leadership in technical settings β€’ Strong presentation and communication skills, with experience negotiating to meet customer needs β€’ Commitment to professional growth for both yourself and your colleagues Requirements: β€’ Requires a Bachelor’s degree β€’ Requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master’s degree with 3+ years of job-related experience. β€’ Agile experience is preferred. Clearance Requirements: β€’ A Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at the time of hire. β€’ Candidates must be able to obtain a Secret clearance within a reasonable timeframe. β€’ Applicants may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
