Entry-Level Data Engineer - 3 Days/wk Onsite

Seeking an Entry-level Data Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of efficient data pipeline processes, data marts, and database solutions. This role supports our mission to deliver high-quality data infrastructure that enables strategic decision-making and improves member outcomes. Position Details • Location: Hybrid — 3 days/week onsite in Colorado Springs, CO • Duration: 6-month contract-to-hire • Eligibility: Must be W2-eligible (no sub-vendor engagements supported) Key Responsibilities Development (50%) • Design, create, and update ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes. • Develop and maintain database schemas to support evolving data needs. Maintenance (40%) • Provide technical support and resolve issues related to data warehouse infrastructure. • Monitor and optimize the performance of existing data warehouse systems. Communication & Documentation (10%) • Build partnerships with data consumers to understand business needs and data usage. • Document development activities and revisions to ensure transparency and continuity. Required Skills & Qualifications • Proficiency in SQL, SSIS, and ETL development. • Familiarity with SQL Server and Python. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Eagerness to learn and grow in a collaborative environment. Preferred Attributes • Intermediate understanding of modern data warehouse methodologies and techniques. • Passion for building scalable and resourceful data solutions. • Team-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
