Role description
Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Business Intelligence Developer for a Contract assignment with one of our premier Healthcare clients in Los Angeles, CA . Responsibilities : β€’ The BI Developer is responsible for leading the development of reporting and analytics solutions for the clients 's electronic health record (EHR) system by gathering business needs, documenting requirements, identifying appropriate data sources, developing reports, and delivering them to stakeholders. The BI Developer takes direction from, and collaborates with, the Assistant Director of Decision Support Services and the Senior Director, Finance Operations on work priorities and manages the resolution of escalated issues. The BI Developer will perform in depth and precise investigation and documentation of future-state reporting specifications and application reporting functionality β€’ Design, develop, validate and perform thorough functional testing of extracts, reports, visualization dashboards utilizing analytics tools and data sources such as, including but not limited to: Microsoft Excel, Tableau, WebI, SSRS, Power BI, Caboodle, Clarity, Reporting Workbench, Radar Dashboards, Universes, Registry Framework and Data Marts, SlicerDicer, and other Business Intelligence Tools. Required Skills: β€’ Bachelor's Degree β€’ 3 plus years of Tapestry experience (cert is a plus), β€’ Strong SQL Datamart, β€’ 5 plus years of Medicare Advantage experience, β€’ Epic Clarity Data Model certification in one or more modules (EpicCare Inpatient, Hospital Billing, Prelude ADT, Radiant, Willow, Optime) or to be obtained within 120 days of hire. β€’ Experience in Quality Measures Reporting preferred β€’ Epic build experience in a live environment strongly preferred β€’ Epic implementation experience specific to clinical workflows and order management strongly preferred β€’ 5+ years of experience in a healthcare related organization β€’ 5+ years demonstrated expertise in MS SQL Server or Oracle β€’ Strong SQL Programming Skills (MS SQL Server/Oracle platforms) β€’ Knowledge of data warehouse concepts, data structures and reporting β€’ Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Tableau dashboard, functions, features, and capabilities β€’ Extensive knowledge of best practices regarding reporting, workflows, policies, procedures, systems and culture in the healthcare environment β€’ Strong analytical, problem-solving and metadata skills β€’ Ability to translate business questions and requirements into reports, views, and BI query objects β€’ Experience in gathering, documenting, prioritizing and tracking requirements β€’ Must have CMS claims submission and HCC coding experience. They need to understand the 837 processes with MOR, MAO and MMR files and condition capture. β€’ Risk Adjustment model and Claims submission.
