Position: Epic Business Intelligence Developer
Position Type: Contract
Compensation: Depending on Experience
Location: Remote with travel to Oklahoma (Travel Required)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Epic Business Intelligence Developer to support reporting, analytics, and data-driven initiatives within a healthcare environment. This role requires deep hands-on experience with Epic reporting tools, strong project delivery skills, and the ability to partner with technical and clinical stakeholders to deliver high-impact reporting solutions.
Candidates must possess current Epic certifications and have a proven history of successful Epic application deployments.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain Epic reporting solutions using Reporting Workbench, SlicerDicer, and Cogito SQL
Build and support enterprise reporting across access, clinical, and revenue data models
Partner with clinical, operational, and executive stakeholders to gather reporting requirements
Support Epic application deployments, upgrades, and enhancements
Ensure reporting solutions meet scope, timeline, and budget expectations
Provide technical expertise on Epic integrations and third-party system reporting
Participate in project planning, documentation, and status reporting
Support on-site and remote implementation efforts as needed
Education and Certifications:
Required: Current Epic Certifications
Preferred certifications include access, clinical, and revenue data models
Previous employment with Epic Systems is highly preferred
Qualifications and Requirements:
Extensive hands-on Epic reporting experience (Reporting Workbench, SlicerDicer, Cogito SQL)
Strong understanding of Epic data structures and healthcare workflows
Proven project management skills with successful on-time deployments
Experience supporting Epic integrations and third-party systems
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
Ability and willingness to travel as required
Strong documentation and organizational skills
