Key Responsibilities:
• Implement Equipment Automation (EA) solutions integrated with critical factory and business systems.
• Collaborate with product development teams to create innovative solutions that meet market demands.
• Coordinate with customers' IT and system administration teams to deploy and configure EA solutions.
• Deliver technical presentations and demonstrations to a variety of audiences, including technical teams and management.
• Conduct software installations and provide EA application training at customer sites.
• Contribute to and manage internal knowledge base resources.
• Support proposal development and requirements gathering from customers (RFPs).
• Draft and deliver statements of work (SOWs) and accurate cost estimates for projects.
• Apply continuous improvement methodologies such as 8D, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and 5 Whys.
• Manage and execute projects following GIS-standard project management lifecycle practices.
Required Skills & Experience:
• Proficiency with Visual Studio, C#, .NET, Python, SQL, and database integration.
• Hands-on experience with SECS/GEM protocols and SEMI automation standards.
• Background in semiconductor, solar, display, or PCB manufacturing as an equipment automation developer.
• Familiarity with factory automation and business systems such as MES, Recipe Management Systems (RMS), and Advanced Process Control (APC).
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical and business information to senior stakeholders.
Additional Functional Knowledge:
• Experience with enterprise automation software running on Windows or Unix platforms with Oracle databases.
• Demonstrates both conceptual understanding and practical application in relevant engineering disciplines.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in an engineering field.
• Experience: Direct experience in factory operations is preferred.
