Role description
About the Role: We are seeking an experienced ETL Developer with strong expertise in cloud ( CPI-PC o IDMC). To design, develop, and maintain robust data integration solutions. This role will be responsible for extracting, transforming, and loading data from multiple sources into enterprise data warehouses and operational data stores, ensuring accuracy, scalability, and performance. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and deploy ETL workflows and mappings using Informatica PowerCenter. • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical ETL solutions. • Optimize data integration processes for performance, scalability, and reliability. • Work with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, etc.) to extract and load data. • Perform data profiling, validation, and quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency. • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve ETL job failures in production environments. • Collaborate with data architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to support reporting and analytics needs. • Document ETL processes, technical specifications, and data flow diagrams. • Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and best practices. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience). • 3–5+ years of hands-on ETL development experience, with a focus on Informatica PowerCenter. • Strong SQL and database skills (query tuning, stored procedures, indexing). • Experience with data warehousing concepts (star schema, snowflake, slowly changing dimensions). • Familiarity with job scheduling tools (Control-M, Autosys, or similar). • Understanding of data governance, metadata management, and data quality principles. • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have): • Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake). • Knowledge of Informatica Cloud (IICS) or other ETL tools. • Familiarity with Python or shell scripting for automation and Java. Additionally: • Knowledge of IBM Cognos. • Availability to handle cancellations and production deployments during working hours. • Exposure to Agile/Scrum environments. Availability: Tuesday to Saturday, 9:00 PM – 6:00 AM Languages: Fully bilingual (English/Spanish) Contract Type: Long-term engagement (1year renewable)
