Role description
Our client, a leader in data solutions, is seeking an ETL Developer to join their team. As an ETL Developer, you will be part of the Data Engineering department supporting various project teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, effective communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: ETL Developer Location: Kennesaw, GA or Charlotte, NC What's the Job? • Support production and project work in the GTS Data space. • Understand requirements, design, and functionality of ETL jobs. • Propose strategic solutions and innovative work-around solutions as needed. • Lead projects and guide team members in technical tasks. • Analyze issues to determine root causes and propose effective solutions. What's Needed? • 10+ years of overall ETL and data warehousing development experience. • Solid experience with Informatica Power Center and/or Big Data technologies (HDFS, Spark, Impala, Hive). • Proficiency in Oracle databases and SQL. • Working knowledge of Linux and shell scripting. • Strong troubleshooting and data analysis skills.
