β’ Responsibilities
Performs highly advanced (senior-level) ETL development work as part of a team on the Data Conversion Project at client. Client has embarked on a multi-year project to convert data from their legacy PeopleSoft system to a cloud solution. The ETL development work will be extracting data from an Oracle database and transforming/loading it to an in-house SQL Server database. Extensive T-SQL skills will be key to the process.
Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
β’ Performs advanced ETL development work on data primarily residing in SQL Server
β’ Translates rules provided by PeopleSoft developers (Oracle based) into efficient T-SQL scripts to load data into the target database on SQL Server
β’ Troubleshoots, supports and maintains the ETL processes developed by the team
β’ Designs, deploys, and manages standardized, centralized data sources
β’ Helps to establish best practices for development, testing, migration and error handling of the ETL activities
β’ Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Minimum (Required):
β’ Bachelorβs degree in computer science, Engineering, or related business field.
β’ 3 years of hands on experience in T-SQL and SSIS/SSMS development
β’ 3 years of hands on experience in ETL development
β’ 3 years of hands on experience moving and manipulating large data sets
Preferred (Optional):
β’ Experience in health/life insurance, accounting and financials, or investment data related activities
β’ Experience with data tools (i.e. Visual Studio, SSIS, MSSQL)
β’ Experience with Azure and agile iterations
β’ Experience with ERP applications (i.e. PeopleSoft, etc.)
