Role description
Overview: We are currently seeking a highly skilled ETL Engineer to join our client’s team based in the Bay Area. This is a hybrid opportunity, requiring 3 days per week onsite. The ideal candidate will bring robust hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter, IICS (Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services), and IDMC (Informatica Data Management Cloud) in enterprise-scale environments. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows and data pipelines using Informatica PowerCenter, IICS, and IDMC. • Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and stakeholders to understand data integration needs. • Optimize performance of ETL processes and ensure scalability across complex data ecosystems. • Monitor and troubleshoot ETL jobs, resolving issues in a timely manner. • Document technical processes and maintain best practices for data quality and governance. Required Skills & Experience: • 5+ years of hands-on experience in ETL development using Informatica PowerCenter. • Proven experience with Informatica IICS and IDMC in cloud-based or hybrid environments. • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, SQL, and performance tuning. • Experience working in agile teams and with enterprise data strategies. • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
