Role description
Title/Role: Developer/Programmer Analyst 3 β ETL, SQL/Oracle
Worksite Address: 90% Remote, May be required to meet on-site in Austin, TX at times - 1701 N. Congress Ave, Austin, TX 78701.
Duration : 12 Months Contract
The Senior Full-stack Developer will perform advanced analysis and programming work involving all technical aspects of designing, creating and maintaining software applications.
This position will work with the Texas Early Childhood Integrated Data System (ECIDS) project team to provide the following Software Development Services:
1. Perform technical analysis by reviewing the user requirements and create design documents.
1. Perform coding adhering to TEA and industry standards, best practices, and customer requirements.
1. Perform testing verifying they match the requirements, as necessary.
1. Prepare and maintain technical documentation as required (i.e. design documents, process flows, object or data models, project plans, environment diagrams, test plans, etc.).
1. Collaborate with the project team for sprint/release work on tasks such as providing development effort estimates, discussing architecture and design, triaging, and resolving defects or issues in multiple environments and providing status on work assignments or issues.
This work will include identifying the technical specifications and data integration requirements needed for implementation, including mapping the next steps for system design, identifying the methodology necessary to establish an ECIDS in the state, and building the data governance structure that will support an ECIDS.
