Role description
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented QA Analyst to support and enhance quality assurance efforts for a critical cross-functional initiative. This role will focus on ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of both project deliverables and financial data across platforms.
The QA Analyst will be responsible for reviewing and validating project work to ensure alignment with both business and technical requirements, with a strong emphasis on financial reporting accuracy and data integrity. In addition, the analyst will play a key role in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including the creation and execution of test plans, validation of workflows, data verification, and the assessment of overall system behavior.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Conduct detailed quality reviews of project deliverables to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with defined requirements
β’ Validate complex financial data and reports, identifying discrepancies and recommending corrective actions
β’ Develop, execute, and document comprehensive UAT test plans, test cases, and testing results
β’ Ensure proper functionality of workflows and system behavior across multiple platforms
β’ Identify, log, and track defects or issues; work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders for resolution
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements and ensure test coverage
β’ Communicate findings clearly and concisely, providing actionable insights to support issue resolution and continuous improvement
Required Qualifications:
β’ Proven experience in QA or UAT roles, preferably in a financial, technical, or cross-functional environment
β’ Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, data validation, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis techniques
β’ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
β’ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
β’ Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate findings and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications:
β’ Experience working on financial systems, reporting tools, or data migration projects
β’ Familiarity with project management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar)
β’ Understanding of QA best practices, SDLC methodologies, and UAT processes
