Position one: Senior Financial Data Specialist
Location: Washington, DC 20024
Duration: Long term Contract
Job Description:
• CFO Dashboard (backend build), Procurement Dashboard (pipeline development).
Key Responsibilities:
• Build and validate SQL queries and views from PeopleSoft Finance and related systems.
• Consolidate datasets into Finance datamarts to serve as the single source of truth for reporting.
• Fix and optimize existing consolidated views (e.g., Trial Balance, Consolidated Financials).
• Design reusable pipelines to support both CFO and Procurement dashboards and futureprojects.
• Collaborate with IT and Finance SMEs to validate definitions and ensure accuracy across data sources.
Skills:
• Minimum 7-10 years of experience
• Analyze complex financial datasets to identify trends, variances, and insights which impact budgeting and forecasting.
• Develop and maintain advanced financial models and scenario analyses.
• Support the development of dashboards and visualizations by preparing clean, structured datasets for use in BI tools (Power BI or Tableau).
• Leverage predictive analytics and AI tools to support revenue forecasting, cost optimization, risk assessment.
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree
