Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Data Analyst to support the mapping, reconciliation, and UAT testing of Balance Sheet and Income Statement actuals and forecast data between the General Ledger and various TM1 reporting cubes (including BANKMR, BANKPBF, PANDA, and FPW Staging). This role is critical for ensuring data accuracy and consistency across systems.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Perform reconciliation and mapping of financial actuals and forecast information between the General Ledger and TM1 cubes
β’ Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate data integrity and system functionality
β’ Analyze variances and investigate discrepancies in financial reporting data
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and accuracy of data between systems
β’ Maintain documentation of reconciliation procedures and test results
β’ Assist in continuous improvement initiatives for financial data processes and system integration
Required Skills & Qualifications:
β’ Strong understanding of accounting principles and the structure of Balance Sheet and Income Statement
β’ Proven ability to work with large and complex data sets
β’ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, v-lookups, formulas)
β’ Experience with TM1 or similar financial reporting/database systems
β’ Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
β’ Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaborate across teams
Preferred Qualifications:
β’ Prior experience working in a financial services or banking environment
β’ Familiarity with financial planning and forecasting processes
