Role description
Responsibilities
Kforce is hiring a Financial Data Analyst to support our Enterprise Technology client's Commercial PCs Business Planning team in Spring, TX, where you will play a critical role in managing and analyzing financial data to support cost-side budgeting and execution. This position is ideal for a data-driven professional with strong analytical and accounting skills who thrives in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities:
β’ Manage purchase orders: open POs, track invoicing, and onboard new vendors
β’ Monitor actual spend vs. budget; Prepare monthly variance reports and flash forecasts
β’ Collaborate with business teams to anticipate changes in quarterly budgets
β’ Support headcount tracking, cost analysis, and miscellaneous expense reporting
β’ Assign business units/managers for reporting and consolidate roll-ups
β’ Automate reporting processes and migrate offline spreadsheets to Viking Database (Tableau)
β’ Analyze large data sets to identify trends and enable actionable insights
β’ Assist with accruals, P&L analysis, and financial reporting
Requirements
β’ Self-driven and accountable-able to meet hard deadlines independently
β’ High level of integrity and a positive, collaborative attitude
β’ Comfortable working in a structured environment with strong training and support
Preferred Skills
β’ Experience with automation and data visualization tools
β’ Interest in developing advanced analytics capabilities
β’ Ability to query, insert, update, and manage database structure using SQL
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
