Description
We are looking for a skilled Financial Data Analyst to join our team in Oriskany, New York. In this long-term contract role, you will play a vital part in analyzing and interpreting financial data to drive meaningful insights for business decision-making. This position offers the opportunity to work on-site in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
β’ Collect and consolidate data from diverse sources to ensure accuracy and readiness for analysis.
β’ Utilize statistical methods to uncover patterns, trends, and anomalies in financial data.
β’ Develop meaningful insights and actionable recommendations based on data analysis.
β’ Design and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
β’ Ensure data integrity by maintaining databases and optimizing data systems.
β’ Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics through detailed reporting.
β’ Collaborate with stakeholders to present findings and support informed decision-making.
β’ Leverage programming languages like Python or R for efficient data manipulation and analysis.
β’ Perform data mining techniques to extract valuable information for financial planning.
β’ Support audits and budgeting processes with accurate and timely data insights.
Requirements
β’ Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis within a detail-oriented environment.
β’ Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, and Crystal Reports.
β’ Strong knowledge of statistical concepts and methodologies.
β’ Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R.
β’ Expertise in database management and data warehousing.
β’ Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and draw conclusions.
β’ Strong communication skills to present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
β’ Knowledge of financial functions such as auditing, budgeting, and capital management.
