Primary Talent Partners has a new 5-month contract for a Financial Reporting Analyst with our great energy client in San Antonio, TX Pay: $46.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Overview: Support stakeholder data analysis and reporting functions across the organization. This role involves daily, weekly, and month-end close activities, forecasting, detailed data reviews, and dashboard/report development. The position requires independent problem-solving and decision-making to deliver actionable insights that inform business strategy. Key Responsibilities • Analyze historical data and trends; support month-end close processes with analyst teams and management. • Monitor and reconcile risk mitigation activities; prepare reports and solutions. • Assist with the development and management of customer dashboards and reporting. • Conduct executive-level dashboard reconciliations and reporting. • Lead annual benchmarking data collection efforts. • Recommend and implement process improvements related to data analysis and reporting. • Manage data and information requests related to customers and business/financial metrics. • Support system and dashboard development initiatives. • Conduct customer analysis and modeling to support decision-making (e.g., strategic, valuation, segment, trend). • Prepare ad-hoc analysis reports. • Support customer data mapping and systems integration. • Deliver general and specialized training to internal and external stakeholders. • Perform additional duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications • High School diploma or GED. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work independently and meet objectives with minimal supervision. • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. • Ability to work cross-functionally in a team environment. • Foundational understanding of financial/accounting principles and business operations. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Proficiency in presenting and reporting data findings. • Familiarity with financial reconciliation and trend identification. Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent experience). • Proficiency in SAP, PowerPoint, Visio, Access/Oracle Database, ARM, GIS, BI Reporting. • Advanced Excel skills; experience with Tableau or Alteryx. • Programming experience in SQL, VBA, Python, R, or SAS. • Prior experience as a Data Analyst, with strong skills in working with large datasets.
