Purpose of role
We are seeking a detail oriented Customer Reporting Analyst on a Fixed Term Contract basis until the end of December 2025. In this role you will support the delivery of customer-focused reporting by executing, maintaining, and enhancing automated reporting tools (macros), querying internal data sources, and producing both regular BAU and ad-hoc reports in a timely and accurate manner.
This is a hybrid role assigned to our Leeds office, where the successful candidate would be based two days per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Run and maintain Excel-based macros to generate regular and ad-hoc customer reports.
β’ Fix and enhance existing VBA scripts to ensure continued automation and accuracy of reporting processes.
β’ Produce and distribute regular BAU reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
β’ Extract and query data from internal systems using SQL or similar tools.
β’ Respond to customer data requests, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and timeliness.
β’ Collaborate with internal teams to ensure data consistency and integrity.
β’ Support ad-hoc analysis and reporting tasks as required.
β’ Adhere to internal data governance, compliance, and risk frameworks.
Knowledge & Skills
β’ Strong Excel skills, including VBA/macros development and debugging
β’ Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases
β’ Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools (desirable)
β’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
β’ Excellent communication and organisational skills
β’ Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadline
Experience
β’ Previous experience in a reporting, data, or MI role
β’ Experience working with customer-facing reporting or service delivery
β’ Proven ability to maintain and improve VBA-based automation
β’ Experience producing regular BAU reporting
β’ Familiarity with data governance and quality assurance practices
Qualifications:
β’ GCSE Maths Grade C (or equivalent)
β’ GCSE English Grade C (or equivalent)
β’ Degree level or equivalent desirable
