Role description
Forward Deploy Engineer Key Responsibilities • Collaborate with banking stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions. • Develop and deploy secure, scalable components for digital banking platforms (e.g., onboarding, payments, account services). • Integrate with core banking systems, APIs, and third-party services. • Rapidly prototype and iterate on new features to validate impact and usability. • Ensure compliance with banking regulations, data privacy, and security standards. • Provide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams. • Monitor performance and troubleshoot production issues in real-time. Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. • 4–8 years of experience in software development, preferably in financial services or fintech. • Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, React.js, and RESTful APIs. • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD pipelines. • Familiarity with banking systems, digital identity, and secure data handling. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with microservices architecture and event-driven systems. • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., KYC, AML, PCI-DSS). • Prior experience working in agile environments with product teams. • Exposure to AI/ML use cases in banking (e.g., fraud detection, personalization).
