Responsibilities
Kforce has a client in NYC that is seeking a Fraud & Risk Analyst whose primary responsibility will be to analyze data to uncover patterns of fraud, aiming to gain a comprehensive understanding of how bad actors operate. This requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and familiarity with data visualization techniques. The Fraud & Risk Analys will be responsible for creating intuitive dashboards that will allow stakeholders to monitor and mitigate these fraudulent patterns efficiently. Responsibilities:
β’ Transform raw data into actionable and relevant information for stakeholders
β’ Conduct exploratory analysis of internal and external data sources using advanced techniques, algorithms, and tools
β’ Identify emerging fraud trends across Intuit's product portfolio
β’ Provide regular updates and insights to leadership, peers, and stakeholders, emphasizing actionable outcomes and business impact
β’ Collaborate with business partners and stakeholders to design effective analysis and measurement approaches, improving the understanding and addressing of emerging business issues
β’ Work closely with local and global teams in policy, product, data engineering, data science, and R&D
β’ Develop controls and monitoring dashboards to ensure performance against business goals, regulatory requirements, and priorities
β’ Support policy teams by providing insights to optimize the performance of their solutions
Requirements
β’ 5+ years of experience analyzing complex datasets, and providing business recommendations
β’ 3+ years of experience working in the Customers Account Security Domain (Account take over mitigation, Identity analytics)
β’ 3+ years of experience building dashboards and data visualization
β’ Extensive SQL experience, specifically in your current role
β’ Proven ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal direction within assigned timelines
β’ Able to express thoughts and ideas in fluent and concise manner
β’ A problem solver with strong analytical skills
β’ A creative and critical thinker
β’ Unafraid to question fundamental assumptions
β’ Naturally inquisitive and always looking to expand your knowledge
β’ Capable of working independently and making decisions with little direction
β’ Capable of communicating ideas clearly and concisely
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Engineering (any field), or closely related quantitative discipline
β’ Background in fraud prevention, with emphasis on tax fraud
β’ Experience building ETL pipelines
β’ Experience with Tableau/QlikView or and other data visualization software
β’ Experience with Github/Splunk/Python
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
