Role description
This role is freelance (1099) with variable hours.
We’re looking for a hands-on Freelance DevOps Engineer to partner with our VP of AI in building and scaling our AI tech stack. This role is perfect for someone with a hacker mentality—curious, resourceful, and excited to solve complex problems at the intersection of AI and software engineering
What you’ll do:
• Work closely with our VP of AI to design, enhance, and maintain our AI infrastructure.
• Build and optimize systems for reliability, scalability, and speed.
• Integrate and manage cloud services, automation pipelines, and development tools.
• Experiment, troubleshoot, and find creative solutions to technical challenges.
What we’re looking for:
• Proven experience in DevOps, AI, and software engineering.
• Strong skills with: SQL, AWS EC2, GitHub, Python, Claude Code, Cursor, SSO Authentication, Streamlit, and Svelte.
• A hacker/problem-solving mindset—comfortable experimenting, debugging, and iterating quickly.
• Curiosity and eagerness to work in a fast-moving, collaborative environment.
