Front Office Business Analyst

Senior Business Analyst | Front Office Transformation Contract | London | Inside IR35 £700-750 per day Duties and Responsibilities • Working with the intake lead, develop and maintain product roadmaps, prioritising features and enhancements based on customer needs and business goals • Providing tracking and transparency around delivery roadmaps • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any issues or concerns. • Specify business requirements for new and existing software applications. Qualifications, Skills and Experience • Proven experience across full project lifecycles, from requirement gathering to testing and implementation (Essential) • Able to document clear and accurate business user requirements (Essential) • Strong written and verbal communication, facilitation, and presentation skills (Essential) • Excellent stakeholder management skills (Essential) • Ability to identify issues and propose effective solutions • Knowledge of banking systems (Essential) • Understanding of trading book asset classes such as Interest Rate derivatives, Bonds, Credit derivatives and FX • Understanding of trade lifecycle from pre-trade to trade settlement, position and risk management • Data Analysis & Mapping: Strong ability to analyse complex datasets, map data between systems, and perform gap analysis • SQL & Database Knowledge: Experience writing SQL queries and working with relational databases like Oracle and MS SQL Server • System Integration: Experience with trading platforms such as Murex, Bloomberg and Loan IQ for trade booking • Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, and Azure DevOps for agile project tracking
