Role description
Role: Tech Business Analyst Location: Windsor, UK Duration: Contract Job Description: Key Skills/Knowledge: Required Skills: • Technical business analyst expertise and experience in managing, advise, generate and prioritise a platform level technical backlog of work • Confidence, optimism and a commitment to be relentless in trying to do the right thing for the customer, our colleagues and our business • Demonstrable collaboration across a wide group of stakeholders with a varied skillset and experience • History of supporting and delivering technical change, software development, enterprise-sized system implementation • Drives results in a fast-paced changing environment – some changes are lengthy but the process to identify, document and deliver is fast • Experience of agile delivery and business / technical analysing • Experience with cloud native enterprise level systems preferably CRM & Billing experience • Channel exposure preferably AWS core infrastructure and services • A sound level in Utilities Domain Knowledge • Salesforce background, MuleSoft or other similar integration product preferable Desirables Skills: • In this role you will become a proficient user of Azure Devops (ADO) to create and manage your Squad’s backlog of work. You will create, define, refine and elaborate your features and stories, getting them “developer-ready”. • Analyses complex business problems to be solved, and working with your solution architect and technical teams to deliver clear prioritised requirements • Identifies gaps and provide technical expertise in business requirements for system functional specifications and scales new and current systems, processes and procedures in a cost effective manner. • Supports the designs details of automated systems. • Provide consultation to users in the area of automated systems. • Lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues. • Daily ADO updates to epics, features and stories, attendance at standard agile ceremonies. • Learn about and use best practice business analysis techniques including feature decomposition, context diagrams, mock-ups and MVP (most valuable product) approaches. • Balance the need to identify new requirements with what may be already available “out of the box” from our SaaS providers.
