Job Title: Frontend Power BI Developer Location: 100% Remote Job Type: 12 month contract Job Description We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Frontend Power BI Developer to join our dynamic team. This is a great opportunity for recent graduates or individuals with foundational Power BI experience who are eager to grow their skills in data visualization and reporting. Key Responsibilities • Assist in designing and developing interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to support business decision-making. • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and contribute to effective Power BI solutions. • Learn and apply best practices for data visualization to ensure clarity and usability. • Support the performance optimization of Power BI solutions, including data refreshes and basic DAX queries. • Work with data engineering teams to connect Power BI to various data sources. • Help maintain and improve existing Power BI reports and dashboards. • Develop problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues under guidance. Preferred Qualifications: • Basic understanding of Power BI features, including dashboards and report building. • Familiarity with data concepts, such as tables, relationships, and basic modeling. • Exposure to DAX functions or a willingness to learn. • Interest in learning semantic modeling and its application in Power BI. Required Skills & Experience: • Some experience with Power BI, either through coursework, projects, or internships. • Strong interest in data visualization and reporting. • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel or similar tools. • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders. • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new tools and technologies. Nice to Have: • Exposure to semantic modeling or advanced Power BI features. • Exposure to SSAS
