Full Stack AI Developer- Remote

Title: Full Stack Developer Location : Remote Target Start Date : ASAP Type: contract Pay Rate: DOE We're seeking a Full Stack AI Developer with experience modernizing early-stage, app-based systems. The ideal candidate has strong front-end skills, solid back-end fundamentals, and the versatility to enhance existing AI-enabled applications — giving them a refined, production-ready user experience. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys refactoring, iterating quickly, and turning prototype-level AI tools into polished, user-friendly applications. Key Responsibilities • Refresh and refactor existing AI-driven applications for improved performance and usability. • Modernize front-end interfaces and optimize user experience across multiple applications • Ensure proper integration and metric tracking when calling AI/ML models. • Collaborate with data scientists to operate AI features — without needing to develop the core algorithms. • Perform light back-end work (Python, SQL, and some big data) to support front-end improvements. • Work iteratively in a fast-changing environment; pivot direction as projects evolve. • Maintain clean, efficient, and scalable code across the stack. Tech Stack Front-End (70%) • React, Node.js Back-End (30%) • Python, SQL, exposure to big data technologies Qualifications • Strong experience developing full-stack applications, especially those leveraging AI or machine learning APIs. • Proven ability to refactor, optimize, and modernize existing codebases. • Solid understanding of UX/UI principles and design-driven front-end work. • Familiarity with AI model integration and metric instrumentation. • Highly adaptable — comfortable with frequent iterations and shifting priorities. • Fast learner with a growth mindset and strong problem-solving instincts.
