Full Stack Data Engineer (50% Data/50% API)

Job Summary Obsessed with creating the best end-to-end customer experience Takes ownership and accountability for outcomes and results location: Roanoke, Texas job type: Contract salary: $75 - 76 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors Responsibilities • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years or master's degree in computer science with 3+ years (or closely related field) • Core Java and J2EE (3-5 years of experience), Dropwizard or Spring Framework (including Spring Boot) in developing RESTful services. • Strong expertise in SQL is a must. • Demonstrated experience developing, debugging and tuning complex SQL statements, and writing PL/SQL. • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud development, deployment and application management • Strong experience with unit testing and test automation frameworks • Familiarity with tools such as JUnit, Cucumber, JMeter, Bruno • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Ability to deal with ambiguity and work in fast paced environment • Ability to validate, monitor, and solve issues during development, testing, or in production • Active participation in troubleshooting and performing root cause analysis (RCA) for production incidents Qualifications Passionate about business-driven development and delivering customer-centric solutions Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across remote and international teams Equal Opportunity Employer: Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, National Origin, Age, Genetic Information, Disability, Protected Veteran Status, or any other legally protected group status.
