Position: Full Stack Developer (Front-End Focused) Type: 12+ Month Contract (Contract-to-Hire Potential) Location: Richmond, VA (Hybrid – 4 Days Onsite, Fridays Remote – Local Candidates Only) About the Role We’re looking for a Full Stack Developer with a strong focus on front-end development to join our growing team in Richmond, VA. This is a hybrid role requiring four days onsite each week (Friday remote). Candidates must already reside in the Richmond area—no exceptions. You’ll play a key role in building and enhancing internal applications that support the growth of small businesses. This is a hands-on engineering role requiring a passion for well-structured UI and scalable, cloud-native architecture. Key Qualifications • 3–5 years of hands-on development experience (mid to junior level) • Stable work history – no frequent job changes • Proven experience building full-stack applications with a heavy focus on front-end development • 70% front-end / 30% back-end development • Strong proficiency with Angular 14+ and TypeScript • React experience is a plus but not required • Back-end development experience using Java or Node.js • Practical experience with AWS services – must have experience with at least one of the following: • AWS Lambda • AWS Fargate • Amazon S3 • Serverless architectures Day-to-Day Responsibilities • Design and develop internal tools to support small business operations and growth • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute on product vision • Build and maintain modern, scalable full-stack applications with an emphasis on UI/UX • Leverage cloud-native technologies and serverless infrastructure for efficient development and deployment
