Contract Full-Stack Engineer – NestJS | React | Python Outside IR35 | 3+ Months | Remote Role/Visits to manchester every 2 weeks for collaboration | Start ASAP We’re working with a growing SaaS business building out an internal platform with multi-tenant architecture and a queue-driven backend. They’re expanding their engineering team with a hands-on contractor to own new features and help scale the platform. You’ll join a tight-knit, pragmatic dev team who actively use Claude and other AI tools to accelerate development and decision-making, so if you’re comfortable pairing with LLMs in your workflow, you’ll fit right in. What You’ll Be Doing • Develop and maintain a NestJS API with queue-based workflows and multi-tenancy • Contribute to a React-based dashboard (minimal UI complexity, mostly logic-driven) • Support architectural decisions to ensure scalability and maintainability • Optionally help build standalone Python APIs for summarisation or ML-related use cases • Collaborate with a team who actively use Claude.ai to support design, testing, and delivery Tech Stack • TypeScript / JavaScript (NestJS, React) • Python (nice-to-have, for standalone API work) • SQL / PostgreSQL • Familiarity with Azure and DevOps is a bonus • Interest in or experience using LLMs/Claude in real workflows is a plus The Setup • Initial 3-month contract with high chance of extension • Fully remote/Manchester visits to the office here and there for collaboration • Start ASAP If you’re confident working across a modern JS/TS stack with experience in multi-tenant backend systems and you enjoy working with teams that embrace AI tools like Claude — we’d love to hear from you.
