Kforce has a client in Merrimack, NH that is seeking a Full Stack Python Developer with deep knowledge and experience in software development, who is able to tackle complex technical challenges and mentor junior developers. Responsibilities:
β’ Lead projects, guiding teams through the development lifecycle and ensuring standard methodologies are followed
β’ Drive innovation by exploring new technologies and methodologies, helping the organization stay competitive
β’ Efficiently diagnose and resolve issues, minimizing downtime and improving system reliability
β’ Contribute to the strategic direction of the company by aligning technical solutions with business goals
β’ Ensure high standards of code quality, performance, and security, which are essential for maintaining robust and scalable systems
Requirements
β’ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or Software Engineering preferred
β’ Preferred Cloud Certification, e.g., AWS certified Associate Developer and/or Solution Architect
β’ 10+ years of IT experience
β’ Strong background in several of the following: Python, Go, JavaScript, AWS, RESTful services, Ruby, MVC, Jenkins CI/CD, Configuration Automation (Chef, Ansible)
β’ Preferred background in: Angular, Bootstrap, HTML/CSS, Shell Scripting, messaging frameworks (MQ), Service Oriented/Micro-service Architectures, OpenStack, Relational Databases (PostgreSQL)
β’ Comfortable working in both Linux and Windows environments
β’ Experience with deploying and using open-source tools, utilities, and applications
β’ Working experience with Agile, 10-factor CI/CD, 12-factor applications, and testing environments/frameworks (Unit, Integration, TDD)
β’ Understands the Spotify model for agile development and delivery
β’ Experience working in an ever-evolving DevOps environment
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
