We have an exciting opportunity for a Gateway Mission Design Engineer to join our JETS II contract team at NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX. If Selected You Will β€’ Support state-of-the-art research in cislunar astrodynamics and spacecraft mission design for multi-vehicle architecture β€’ Generate strategies for operating in cislunar space for a range of vehicle capabilities β€’ Develop, integrate, and test new algorithms for evaluation of vehicle and mission performance β€’ Provide software development and scripting in orbit analysis software tools, such as FreeFlyer, Monte, or GMAT β€’ Develop requirements verification documentation for mission design products β€’ Provide recommendations for improvements in software/data products β€’ Perform other duties as required Qualifications This position has been posted at multiple levels.
