Title: GenAI Engineer Location : Remote Target Start Date : ASAP Type: contract Pay Rate: DOE Overview: We are seeking a skilled GenAI Engineer to design, build, and optimize generative AI workflows using large language models. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with LLMs, AI agents, and Python-based pipelines, and a strong understanding of modern NLP techniques. Key Qualifications: • Experience working with large language models (e.g., GPT, Claude, LLaMA, Mistral) for tasks such as text generation, summarization, extraction, and Q&A. • Proficiency in Python for building and integrating generative AI pipelines, APIs, and vector databases. • Strong understanding of machine learning and NLP concepts, including embeddings, transformers, and RAG (retrieval-augmented generation). • Ability to design, test, and refine prompts, templates, and system instructions to improve model output quality and reliability. • Familiarity with AI agent frameworks (e.g., LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, OpenAI Assistants) for multi-step workflows and tool usage. • Knowledge of risks such as bias, hallucinations, and prompt injection, with experience applying guardrails and validation strategies. • Experience evaluating model outputs using test sets, metrics, and qualitative review. • Proficiency with version control (Git) and writing clean, maintainable, production-ready code.
