Optomi, in partnership with a leading healthcare company is looking for a GenAI Engineer to join their team! Youβll be at the forefront of leveraging Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) to uncover insights from complex healthcare data, including adverse event reports and clinical trial documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Design, prototype, and deploy Generative AI models tailored to healthcare use cases, particularly in clinical development and regulatory domains.
β’ Explore and define ambiguous problem statements to uncover high-impact AI opportunities.
β’ Collaborate closely with data scientists, domain experts, and regulatory teams to align AI solutions with business objectives.
β’ Analyze and interpret large volumes of structured and unstructured clinical and regulatory data.
β’ Contribute to model evaluation, tuning, and monitoring processes to ensure real-world relevance and compliance.
β’ Stay abreast of the latest AI/ML research and technologies, particularly in LLMs and healthcare applications.
Qualifications:
Required
β’ Strong proficiency in Python, with experience developing and scaling ML/AI models.
β’ Demonstrated experience with Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).
β’ Solid foundation in data analytics and computer science fundamentals.
β’ Proven ability to take initiative and work independently in ambiguous or lightly defined problem spaces.
β’ Experience or familiarity with the pharmaceutical domain or life sciences (ideal but not required).
Preferred
β’ Knowledge of platforms such as Illiad or MedCoder.
β’ Experience extracting insights from adverse event reports or clinical trial data.
β’ Understanding of healthcare compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, GxP) is a plus.
