Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Generative AI Consultant with deep domain expertise in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems. This role will focus on driving AI-powered transformation across PLM workflows to optimize, automate, and modernize product development lifecycles. The ideal candidate will serve as the key link between cutting-edge AI/LLM technologies and complex PLM environments. Key Responsibilities: • Assess and analyze existing PLM workflows to identify opportunities for AI/ML integration. • Design, develop, and deploy Generative AI solutions to improve key PLM functions such as product design, BOM management, and change control. • Collaborate with data scientists, PLM engineers, and business stakeholders to define and execute AI strategies. • Build custom LLM models or integrate commercial solutions (e.g., OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Cohere) into enterprise PLM platforms. • Lead Proof-of-Concept (PoC) projects and scale successful AI solutions into production environments. • Ensure all implementations adhere to best practices in data governance, security, and compliance. • Prepare technical documentation and deliver training to internal teams and clients. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with PLM systems such as Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill, or Dassault ENOVIA. • At least 2 years of experience in Generative AI / Large Language Model (LLM) implementations. • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or similar. • Familiarity with AI/ML tools and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenAI API). • Understanding of Digital Threads, Digital Twins, and Product Data Management (PDM). Preferred Skills: • Experience working on cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP. • Industry background in manufacturing, automotive, or aerospace. • Excellent communication, client-facing, and consulting skills.
