Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Generative AI Consultant with deep domain expertise in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems. This role will focus on driving AI-powered transformation across PLM workflows to optimize, automate, and modernize product development lifecycles. The ideal candidate will serve as the key link between cutting-edge AI/LLM technologies and complex PLM environments.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Assess and analyze existing PLM workflows to identify opportunities for AI/ML integration.
β’ Design, develop, and deploy Generative AI solutions to improve key PLM functions such as product design, BOM management, and change control.
β’ Collaborate with data scientists, PLM engineers, and business stakeholders to define and execute AI strategies.
β’ Build custom LLM models or integrate commercial solutions (e.g., OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Cohere) into enterprise PLM platforms.
β’ Lead Proof-of-Concept (PoC) projects and scale successful AI solutions into production environments.
β’ Ensure all implementations adhere to best practices in data governance, security, and compliance.
β’ Prepare technical documentation and deliver training to internal teams and clients.
Required Qualifications:
β’ Bachelor's or Masterβs degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
β’ Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with PLM systems such as Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill, or Dassault ENOVIA.
β’ At least 2 years of experience in Generative AI / Large Language Model (LLM) implementations.
β’ Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or similar.
β’ Familiarity with AI/ML tools and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenAI API).
β’ Understanding of Digital Threads, Digital Twins, and Product Data Management (PDM).
Preferred Skills:
β’ Experience working on cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP.
β’ Industry background in manufacturing, automotive, or aerospace.
β’ Excellent communication, client-facing, and consulting skills.
