Role description
BLOC Resources is seeking a highly skilled and experienced GIS Analyst 3 to support the ASC1523 Asset Data and Analytics team at Nicor Gas Headquarters. This senior-level GIS professional will play an integral role in the development, maintenance, analysis, and transformation of geospatial datasets used in critical utility and pipeline operations. The GIS Analyst 3 will work closely with engineering, operations, compliance, and IT stakeholders to understand business needs, optimize workflows, identify data improvement opportunities, and produce high-quality GIS deliverables. This role requires advanced technical expertise, strong analytical capabilities, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex assignments with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment.
