GIS/ Data Analyst

Our client, a leading organization in the industry, is seeking a passionate and skilled GIS/ Data Analyst to join their dynamic team. As a GIS/ Data Analyst, you will be an integral part of the Analytics department, supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent collaboration abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: GIS/ Data Analyst Location: West Des Moines, IA/ Charlotte, NC What's the Job? • Consult on or participate in moderately complex analytics initiatives and deliverables within the organization. • Review and analyze analytics challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of data, spatial, and technical factors. • Contribute to the resolution of complex issues by leveraging a solid understanding of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. • Collaborate effectively with client personnel and internal teams to meet analytics deliverables. • Build map applications and dashboards in Esri ArcGIS server focusing on weather, incident management, corporate security, and property data. What's Needed? • 4+ years of analytics experience, demonstrated through work, consulting, training, military experience, or education. • Proficiency in GIS (Global Information Systems), ArcGIS, Esri, and Python is required. • Experience with Tableau, SQL, or PowerBI development is preferred. • Ability to analyze moderately complex analytics challenges and evaluate variable factors. • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams.
