What will you be doing as a GIS Data Scientist?
• Develop multi-year network plans focusing on 5G (mmWave and C-Band) strategy and deployment, ensuring that both mobile and fixed wireless users are supported.
• Create guidance on building a network that supports high-quality mobile and fixed wireless services by understanding key factors like RAN coverage modeling, RAN capacity planning, RF link budgets, and customer experience.
• Leverage analytics and automation tools to provide consistent, accurate, and actionable guidance/modeling to various business units across the company.
• Design, develop, and maintain reports and KPI dashboards in current technologies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Source data, analyze trends across diverse metrics, and create meaningful representations of data to identify patterns and provide actionable insights.
• Ensure that all reports are validated, and data integrity is maintained through regular audits and checks.
• Develop ad-hoc reports as requested, ensuring flexibility and responsiveness to business needs.
What do you bring to the table as a GIS Data Scientist?
• GIS Expertise: Proficiency in tools like ArcGIS and MapInfo.
• Data Science Skills: Experience with Alteryx and Tableau.
• Advanced SQL: Ability to perform complex queries within mapping tools.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize complex data.
• Knowledge of RF link budgets, RAN capacity, and coverage modeling.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams, particularly in the telecom or wireless network domain.
