GIS QA Test Specialist

Job SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled GIS QA Test Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in geographic information systems and will be responsible for managing, analyzing, and interpreting spatial data. This role requires proficiency in Testing of GIS applications, ensuring high-quality data analysis and visualization. Responsibilities /Experience Perform QA Testing activities for the migration project ArcGIS GN to ArcGIS UN. Perform data validations in GIS databases, ensuring accuracy and accessibility of spatial data. Experience in Conduct spatial analysis and create maps to support project objectives. Experience in using ArcFM desktop, ArcFM Viewer, Utility Pipeline Data Model (UPDM), and Workflow Manager, Pro tools for Testing activities. Experience in Testing of migration of Visual Fusion to ArcGIS Enterprise Builder Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into User Stories and Develop Test Cases Perform Functional, Integration, user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate system functionality against requirements. Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies including Agile and Waterfall. Experience with RESTful APIs and web services for integrating GIS applications with other systems. Familiarity with database management systems such as MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices using Jenkins or similar tools. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills along with a commitment to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
