Job Title: GitHub Actions Developer - W2 Only
Length: 6 month contact to hire
Pay Rate: $65-$75/hour W2
Location: Hybrid β 3 days onsite weekly in one of the following locations: Pittsburgh, PA | Cleveland, OH | Dallas, TX | Phoenix, AZ
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Developer with deep expertise in GitHub Enterprise and GitHub Actions to design, build, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines. This role will be instrumental in supporting migration efforts by developing reusable workflows and actions that enable secure, efficient, and automated software delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Develop reusable GitHub workflows and custom actions to support enterprise-wide CI/CD standardization.
β’ Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD automation using GitHub Reusable Workflows and JavaScript-based Custom Actions.
β’ Integrate tools for security scanning, secrets management, and artifact storage (e.g., JFrog Artifactory).
β’ Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve build and deployment issues.
β’ Contribute to migration strategies from legacy CI/CD systems to GitHub Actions.
β’ Maintain documentation and best practices for CI/CD processes and reusable components.
Required Skills & Experience
β’ Proven experience in CI/CD pipeline development and automation.
β’ Hands-on expertise with GitHub Enterprise and GitHub Actions.
β’ Proficiency in YAML and scripting languages such as Shell, Python, or Golang.
β’ Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and tools.
β’ Working knowledge of cloud platforms, Kubernetes, and containerized environments.
β’ Experience with Jenkins pipelines and migration patterns to GitHub.
β’ Exposure to infrastructure-as-code tools and GitOps workflows.
