Role description
Our Customer was founded in 1982 in an effort to create a solid accounting firm headed by native professionals. They later branched out to other services, which is now a multinational professional services network with offices in over 150 countries and territories around the world. With more than 100,000 professionals, they provide audit and assurance, tax, consulting, and risk and financial advisory services to a broad cross-section of the largest corporations and governmental agencies.
We are seeking a Global Trade Advisor on a contract basis to help support our Customerβs business needs. This role is 100% remote.
Trade Data Knowledge
β’ Familiarity with the Customs Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) system, particularly Entry Summary and Reporting modules.
β’ Understanding of supplemental tariffs, such as reciprocal tariffs and Section 232.
β’ Experience working with Chapter 99, Subchapter III of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS).
Required
Skills and Qualifications:
β’ Proficiency with basic Microsoft Excel (or equivalent) formulas (e.g., VLOOKUP, SUMIF, COUNTIF).
β’ Experience in at least one of the following areas:
β’ Data wrangling
β’ Data engineering
β’ Data visualization
β’ Data analytics
β’ Data science
β’ Understanding of dataset operations such as joining, filtering, appending, and summarizing.
β’ Knowledge of different data types (string/text, numeric, boolean, etc.).
Preferred
β’ Proficiency with advanced Microsoft Excel (or equivalent) array functions (e.g., SORT, FILTER, UNIQUE).
β’ Experience with one or more of the following tools:
β’ Alteryx
β’ Microsoft Power Apps (Power Query, Power BI) or equivalent
β’ Tableau
β’ SQL
β’ Programming languages (Python, R, VBA, etc.)
β’ Familiarity with additional tools or skills related to data management, analysis, or automation.
