Role description
Role: Global Trade Advisory
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Remote
• Trade Data Knowledge
o Familiarity with Customs Automated Commercial Environment (“ACE”) system, particularly Entry Summary and Reporting modules
o Familiarity with supplemental tariffs, such as reciprocal tariffs, Section 232, etc.
o Experience working with Chapter 99, Subchapter III of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (“HTSUS”)
• Tech/Data General
o Requirements:
§ Experience with basic Microsoft Excel (or equivalent) formulas (VLOOKUP, SUMIF/COUNTIF, etc.)
§ Experience in at least one of the following areas:
§ Data wrangling
§ Data engineering
§ Data visualization
§ Data analytics
§ Data science
§ Understanding of how to join, filter, append, and summarize datasets
§ Understanding of different data types (string/text, numeric, boolean, etc.)
o Preferred:
§ Experience with Microsoft Excel (or equivalent) array functions (SORT, FILTER, UNIQUE, etc.)
§ Experience with at least one of the following:
§ Alteryx
§ Microsoft Power Apps (Power Query, Power BI, etc.) or equivalent
§ Tableau
§ SQL
§ Programming languages (Python, R, VBA, etc.)
§ Other tools/skills related to the above
