Grant Data Analyst

Responsibilities: • Research and identify relevant grant opportunities that support IT initiatives in municipal government. • Prepare and submit high-quality grant proposals, including narratives, budgets, and supporting documentation tailored to ITS projects. • Collaborate with ITS staff to gather project details, define funding needs, and ensure proposals meet grantor requirements. • Track application statuses, manage deadlines, and handle post-award reporting or compliance as needed. • Monitor emerging grant trends in technology and public sector funding to maximize opportunities for the department. • Program evaluation on ROI for ITS initiative and reporting and assist with budgeting and forecasting. • Creating and updating grant calendar, tracking legislative changes affecting tech funding. • Perform other related duties as assigned to support departmental goals. Pay Rate: $20.00-$22.00/Hour. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in public administration, Business, Communications, or a related field (preferred). • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills with attention to detail. • Familiarity with IT concepts (e.g., software, hardware, cybersecurity) to effectively translate technical needs into compelling proposals. • Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Office, grant databases, and project management software. • Excellent communication and organizational abilities to work independently as a contractor. • Experience: Proven experience in grant writing or fundraising, ideally in government, nonprofit, or technology sectors (2+ years preferred).
